Karachi: Zahid Gulfam of WAPDA won the Tour de Pakistan cycle race while the final stage of the race was won by Asad Mahmood of Pakistan Army here on Saturday. The participants of the final stage travelled from Hyderabad to Karachi.
Asad achieved success with a big margin as he crossed the distance in four hours, 31 minutes and seven seconds.
He was followed by Abdul Wahab of Sindh and Saleem of Balochistan. WAPDA’s Zahid Gulfam won the overall top position in the race, covering the distance of 1,650 km in 46 hours, 13 minutes and nine seconds.
