Australia wins under-19 World Cup by beating Pakistan by 25 runs

Lunkin: Australia beat Pakistan by 25 runs to lift the under-19 World Cup in New Zealand.

The star for Australia was fast bowler Josh Hazelwood who took 4-30, including the final wicket of Raza Hasan.

Josh was declared man-of-the-match after his side was forced to defend a lowly 207.

Luke Doran contributed 3-32 as Pakistan was dismissed for 182 with 20 balls remaining, FOX Sports reports.

Earlier in the day, Australia had suffered an early collapse to find themselves at 3-23 after captain Mitchell Marsh was dismissed.

A solid middle-order effort, including 44 from Kane Richardson, allowed Australia to set a competitive target for Pakistan and one they were ultimately able to defend.
