KARACHI: Cuban boxing coach Francisco Hernandez Roldan has been issued visa and he is expected to arrive in Pakistan before Eidul Fitr to join his coaching job. The spokesman of the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) told ‘The News’ on Sunday
that Roldan has been issued visa and the ticket is also being sent to him within few days. He said that the PBF want to have him in Pakistan before Eidul Fitr. He said that Roldan’s services have been hired by the PBF with the assistance of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for a term of one year, saying his contract would be renewed after every year on the basis of his performance.
He said that the PBF want to have his services for a longish period, as Pakistan are desperately looking for forming a fighting pool of boxers for the 2012 London Olympics.
