KARACHI: Pakistan boxing squad left for Italy on Friday to feature in the AIBA World Boxing Championships to be held in Milan from September 1 to 12.
Asian gold medallist Mehrullah Lassi and the president of the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) Doda Khan Bhutto did not proceed with the contingent on Friday morning and were scheduled to fly out from here last night (Friday).
Mehrullah received his passport quite late on Friday while Doda Khan Bhutto had delayed his departure for Milan because of illness.
