Quadrangular four-nation Twenty20 in Canada
Yousaf likely to be ruled out of the Canada T20

Mohammad Yousaf has scored 10 & 5 in two innings of national Twenty20 cup for playing Lahore Lions.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has delayed the announcement of their squad for the Quadrangular four-nation Twenty20 International series fixtures, whereas International Cricket Council (ICC) released the appointments of the campaign starting from October 10.

According to PCB media director, selectors are willing to review the match between Lahore Lions and Rawalpindi Ramps who are combating to qualify the semi-final of the National Twenty20.

Many luminaries including Muhammad Yousaf – who is desperate to play International Twenty20, but couldn’t perform well during the National event to be selected for the Quadrangular series, meanwhile Cricdb has learnt that selectors had only delayed in announcing the squad to evaluate Yousaf’s part for Lahore Lions.

Whereas, some speculation has also being prevailing, that Canadian Immigration has refused Yousaf’s visa, whereas Selectors meanwhile were not willing to select Yousaf because of his poor form in the Twenty20 as he scored just 15 runs in two matches.

Considering Yousaf’s performance which isn’t a promising one, Fawad Alam who has scored 55 runs in one national T20 against Lahore Eagles would likely replace Yousaf. Abdur Rauf who had been leading Multan Tigers skirmishing by Islamabad leopards, though a stunning overall individual performance by Rauf could draft him into the squad.

Selectors were also closely watching Shoaib Akhtar’s performance throughout the tournament, a source told Cricdb, that chief selectors are satisfied with Akhar’s performance and will be consider in the 15-man squad for the Canada four-nation – that includes Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and host Canada.

Squad(Likely probable):
