Karachi: President of Pakistan Sports Writers’ Federation Mr. Amjad Aziz Malik written a latter to Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Razaz Gilani linking he was met with country’s Sports Bodies yesterday in Islamabad for uplifting Sports in Pakistan and again gets a glory in the World.
PSWF President say the supreme body of sports journalist of Pakistan representing Print and Electronic Media of the country affiliated with World Sports Writers Federation – Italy is the sole organization taking care of the sports journalists and working hand to hand with sports organizations for the welfare of sportsmen and for the promotion of games in the country.

As you know that sports reporting is specialized field and all over the world , print and electronic media persons with specialty in their games can cover the events and in Pakistan, it is also being done by the sports journalist who had given their whole life for the sports by spending time in the courts and play grounds .It is worth mentioning that our sports journalist are also reporting for the International Sports Media ( TV Channels, Magazines , Newspapers and few of them are working as free launce ).
We are proud of them as when sports journalists from either country comes to Pakistan to cover any International event, they are very much impressed with the quality of reporting and here I take this opportunity to inform you that our journalists exhibits well in International competitions when they visit abroad with our national teams or attend competitions to cover for their organizations.

I on behalf of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation and sports lovers very much appreiacate the efforts taken by you for the welfare of the sportsmen and for the revival of sporting activities in the country which were badly needed to get back Pakistan again on the top in the world especially in Hockey, Cricket squash and also in other games. It will be a wasteful attempt by us to tell you that without media, one can not achieve their goals and when media is considered to be the fourth pillar of state organ, this is the same in the sports and here allow me to say that we missed a golden opportunity to meet you and to share our experiences with your goodself and to pass on your heart feelings to our sportsmen and sports lovers through our reporting.
