Dr.Shah writes strong warded letter to Ijaz Butt

KARACHI: The senior member of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Governing Board Dr.Muhammad Ali Shah has written a strong warded letter to Chairman PCB Ijaz Butt for launching a cricket coaching academy at the cost of Rs.100 million without their knowledge.

“I have come to know through print and electronic media that PCB has decided to make cricket coaching academy at Karachi at the cost of Rs.100 million,” he said in a letter despatched to PCB Chairman copy of which was made available here on Thursday.
“Its is surprising that I have not been informed/involved in any capacity for this project. Please not that I should have been fully involved in this project in either because of my various positions in Sindh,” letter said.
Dr Shah besides being Sindh Sports Minister, also holding the portfolios of KCCA President and head of Sindh Olympic Association.
“Its hard to believe that an academy is being built in Karachi and person of my calibre has not been involved in the project,” he said.
Former Pakistan Captain Javed Miandad, Director General PCB and Member Governing Board also strongly criticised the chairman for not bothering him about informing the project nor getting the approval from the PCB Governing Board.
