Zimbabwe vs. Kenya media accreditation now open

Zimbabwe A will play Kenya in a four day Intercontinental Cup fixture at
Kwekwe Sports Club from 7 to 10 October.

Thereafter, the Kenyan team will travel to Harare where it will play five
ODIs against the Zimbabwe national men's team.

The itinerary for both fixtures is below.

MEDIA ACCREDITATION:

Local media need accreditation in order to be allowed access to the ground
during the Zimbabwe vs Kenya ODI games. The accreditation process for the
opens today, Tuesday, 22 September 2009 Please fill in the attached
application form and return to ZC together with two passport photos.

The event begins on Monday, 12 October with all games being played at Harare
Sports Club.



FOR FOREIGN MEDIA

All foreign media wishing to travel to Zimbabwe to cover this event must be
accredited and seek clearance from the Zimbabwe Ministry of Information and
Publicity.

The procedure for foreign media is as follows:
1. Fill in the attached application for and return to Zimbabwe Cricket
together with 2 passport sized colour photographs (these may be sent in
electronic form as well).
2. ZC will then forwards all th applications to th Ministry where a
Clearance Letter will be issued.
3. Please note that the accreditation for media personnel is a
statutory requirement and applies to any journalist, whether one comes from
a country that requires a visa for Zimbabwe or not. It is important
therefore that journalists follow the set procedures before leaving for
Zimbabwe.

Please note that applications close on 1 October and due to the volume of
applications expected and the procedures involved, late applicants cannot be
guaranteed accreditation. As a result, those wishing to obtain accreditation
should register and apply as soon as possible.
