KARACHI: Pakistan boxing team has returned home today after taking part in the Kings Cup Boxing Tournament held in Thailand. Mohammad Waseem, who won the bronze medal in the event, has expressed hope to win gold medal in the next competition. Wasim Ahmad (51kg), Usman Butt (54kg), Qadir Khan (57kg), Nadir (48kg) and Arshad Hussain (64kg) are scheduled to leave for Istanbul at 3:30pm on Tuesday.

Abdul Majeed Brohi will accompany the squad as coach while Fakhruddin Shaikh will go with the team as manager.Muhammad Sharif from Railways will proceed with the squad as referee/judge. Akram said he is hopeful that his boxers will perform well in the Ahmed Commert tournament.
