Karachi : Dear members,
You would be glad to know that State Life Insurance Corporation, on the request of SJAS, has very kindly offered a special Life and Accidental disability insurance cover for SJAS members. The rates offered are very reasonable for both the covers that comes to around Rs.400 per person per year.
So far 41 SJAS members have provided their data and date of births whereas the list of members have increased during last couple of months. All the SJAS members who are below the age of 60 can apply for the insurance.
I have been communicated that some members are not interested to have the insurance cover for their personal reasons, therefore, all the members are requested to please communicate to the SJAS Managing Committee in writing if they want the insurance cover or not?.
Kindly take note that it’s a group insurance cover and all the payment has to be made by one cheque. The SJAS has to pay the amount in first week of May, so those interested in insurance are requested to please deposit the amount with Mr. Ubaid Awan treasure of the SJAS and take receipt from him. The amount once collected would be handed over to State Life in shape of bank cheque or pay order.
All SJAS members are requested to please take the deadline seriously and inform of your consent/payment or otherwise by 30th, April, 2009. After the deadline, the list of insurance applicant would be finalized.
Mr. Rashid Siddiqi , Secretary and Shoiab Ahmed Joint secretary are requested to please use their good offices to help members finalize this project. Shoiab is requested to please send this letter even on SJGP so that it can reach maximum SJAS members. Those not having their email address should be contacted on phone or personal basis.
