Rizwan Azam and Mohammad Attique reach the final of Men's Doubles. Rizwan Azam and Mohammad Attique of Pakistan reched the final of Men's Doubles in Syrian International Badminton Series being held in Damascus Syria.
Rizwan Azam and Mohammad Attique beat Mahmoud Darweesh &Saleh Zahra of Syria by the score of 21-11 and 21-13 in the prequarterfinal. In the Quarter final they beat the top Syrian pair of Mohammad Alkhleef &Tareq Amam again in straight setsby the score of 21-12 and 21-14.
It may be pointed out that Rizwan Azam and Mohammad Attique are the top seed in the Men's Doubles and a victory here will raise their ranking upto almost fifty.
In the Mixed Doubles Aisha Akram & Mohammad Attique reached the Semi finals by defeating Sonya Barakat & Muahmmad Alkhleef of Syria in straight sets by the score of 21-13 , 21-15.
Wajid Ali was unlucky to loose to
Mohamadreza of Iran by the score of 21-19, 21-19.
