Customs Cricket Academy as per tradition arranged a graceful ceremony to honour the trainees of one month durationU-15 "Get ready with Shahid Afridi coaching program, and trainees of 12 weeks long U-19 PCB coaching program at Regional Cricket Academy Karachi on their completion of task. The ceremony was held at Hotel Avari today. Mr Asrar Raouf, Director General, Regional taxation office Karachi was the chief guest. The other notable personalities Pakistan's ace all rounder Shahid Afridi, Mr Fasahatullah Khan, Chairman My Builders, Sardar Azmat, Senior Vice President and head of Marketing division, Arif Habib investments, Professor Siraj-ul-Islam Bokhari, Honorary Secretary KCCA, were the guests of honour.
Hafiz Saad Alam recited the quranic versus in the start of the graduation ceremony. Chief Coach CCA, and Head Coach PCB Karachi in his welcome address explained the objectives and achievements of both the program. The audience was shown a documentary showing the activities regarding coaching and training at RCA. RCA Karachi is the only PCB Academy which has launched its own website giving the comprehensive information about the U-19 cricketers of Karachi and the coaching and training staff. Jalaluddin and former test cricketer Azam Khan carried out the PCB Coaching program at Karachi with the efforts of Assistant Coaches Haris Khan, and Sagheer Abbas, Fielding coaches Tahir Mahmood and Asim Rizvi, Trainers Muhammad Hussain, and Rashid Qureshi, Physios Usman Ghani, and Fareedullah, Analysts Fasihullah Siddiqui and Muhammad Asim.
Sardar Azmat and Fasahatullah Khan in their speeches praised the training programs and assured their support in future also. Prof. Siraj-ul-Islam Bokhari hailed the efforts of Jalaluddin and his team for taking daring initiatives in the development and promotion of Cricket at the grass root level. World's fastest ODI century maker Shahid Afridi spoken about the future of budding cricketers. He was delighted to see the U-19 cricketers with the positive body language. He advised them keep their moral high and take maximum advantage from the best facilities being provided to them by PCB. He also expressed his best regards to Jalaluddin and coaches of CCA to conduct U-15 coaching program. Chief guest Mr Asrar Raouf paid tribute to Shaid Afridi for his scintillating batting performances. He assured his full support to CCA and Jalaluddin for the grooming of young cricketers.
